What is a cell phone concierge?
A cell phone concierge is a service that answers calls to your mobile number on your behalf, finds out who is calling and why, and hands you the outcome — rather than letting every call interrupt you.
United States
It works alongside the phone, number, and carrier you already have, usually by forwarding unanswered calls to an assigned number.
Canada
In Canada the same model applies; any promotional follow-up must comply with CASL (express consent), which reputable services handle at signup.
What it does
Answers, greets, asks who is calling and why, and resolves the call to an outcome you can act on — connected, message taken, follow-up, or handled.
What it is not
It is not a scam filter, a carrier, or an emergency line. Treat any claim that it 'stops all spam' or 'guarantees' anything with caution.
Limitations
- It is not a wireless carrier and does not replace your phone service.
- It is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for 911.
- It cannot identify every caller or guarantee delivery of every call.
