Buyer's guide
How to evaluate a phone concierge before you pay — what to compare, what to ask, and the red flags. No product rankings, no fabricated testing.
Start with your use case
- Missing important calls, too many interruptions, or both?
- If neither is a real problem, you likely do not need a paid service.
Pricing, contract, cancellation
- Is pricing clear with no hidden add-ons?
- Month-to-month, and self-serve to cancel?
- What happens to your data when you cancel?
Privacy and recording
- What is collected and for how long?
- Are calls recorded, and can you disable it?
US vs Canada
Confirm it genuinely operates in your country; in Canada, CASL governs promotional follow-up and Quebec French may be unavailable.
Red flags
- 'Blocks 100% of spam' / 'stops all scams' — no honest service promises this.
- Hides that the assistant is automated.
- No clear cancellation or indefinite retention.
Educational only. Cell Phone Concierge does not rate or rank specific providers. Not an emergency service — call 911 for emergencies.
